Ruba Ghazal and Sol Zanetti represent the Quebec of today and tomorrow. They embody the dream of a free, green, just, and inclusive country.
Ruba embodies the Quebec dream—proof that Quebec is stronger when it gives everyone a chance. This same dream has always been at the heart of Sol’s fight for the sovereignty of the peoples of Quebec.
Together, they offer a clear, progressive vision that serves the greater good.

In the face of the housing crisis and the unchecked rise in rent prices, there are some choices that need to be made.
Previous governments completely abandoned tenants, leaving them to fend for themselves against arbitrary increases. Yet solutions exist.
As soon as we take office, a Québec solidaire government will bring in a simple measure that will make a real difference in tenants' lives: capping rent increases at the rate of inflation.
No more abusive hikes of 10, 20, or 30%.
No more speculators gaming the system to get rich at tenants' expense.
Having a home without going broke should be a right for everyone.
And with Québec solidaire, it’s possible.

Our grocery bills keep going up, yet our carts are emptier than ever.
Meanwhile, the big chains rake in billions of dollars in profits, and their executives collect ever-larger bonuses.
Québec solidaire has real solutions to truly bring down the grocery bill:
Create a network of public grocery stores to compete with the big players and drive prices down;
Cap the profit margins of the major chains;
Ban unfair practices like excessive price hikes and fake discounts.
It is possible to lower grocery costs. It just takes courage and ambition.
And with Québec solidaire, it’s possible.

For the past eight years, the CAQ has completely neglected public transit.
The result: run-down infrastructure, deteriorating service, and riders forced back into their cars. It’s time to get things moving in the right direction.
Québec solidaire will put our priorities back where they belong:
Restore our public transit infrastructure;
Invest to expand service;
Deliver the projects left on the drawing board for far too long, like the tramways in Québec City and Gatineau, or the key transit link in eastern Montréal.
Investing now in public transit across Quebec means investing in our future and in the quality of life of future generations.
And with Québec solidaire, it’s possible.

Our public schools need care and major investment to educate future generations. Yet we’re told it costs too much.
Québec solidaire is the only party with the courage to state the obvious: large fortunes must contribute more.
In Quebec, 4,000 households hold a net worth of more than 25 million dollars.
A Québec solidaire government would raise taxes on these large fortunes to bring in 5 billion dollars a year.
For them, it’s pocket change.
For us, it’s air-conditioned classrooms, and more teachers and remedial educators for our students.
It’s time to be ambitious for our public schools and give them the means to shape Quebec’s future.
With Québec solidaire, it’s possible.

Making Quebec a country means, first and foremost, changing the way we do politics.
It means giving power back to the people so we can write a new chapter in our history, together.
To bring a broad majority together around a shared project, we have to build it with everyone. With the First Peoples. With newcomers. With our artists and our workers. With our regions and our cities.
We have a clear vision for a free Quebec that looks like us.
A green Quebec where wealth benefits everyone. A Quebec where everyone can eat their fill and live with dignity.
A Quebec that takes care of its public services. An inclusive Quebec, proud of its culture and its diversity.
With Québec solidaire, it’s possible.
Quebec is at a crossroads. After 30 years of successive governments neglecting public services and failing to act on climate change, we know that we can do better. We must do things differently. We must rekindle our ambition for Quebec and act boldly to build a fairer, greener, and more inclusive province.
